After you have listened to the lectures for each lesson you need to post a comment about something that you found interesting. You also need to post a follow-up comment on two(2) other students comments on the lectures. (If there are no other students comments in the topic then you only need to post your own comment).

Lesson 1-A According to lesson one, there are basically only two religions. Oneism, defined as the worship of creation and twoism, defined as the worship of the divine creator. All religions which are not Christianity fall into the Oneism category. The western world is falling further and further from Twoism and is reverting back to older native styles of creation worship and they are coming up with a lot of different styles of creation worship on their own. Breaking everything down into one of two categories says it all. To be a true worshiper of the one true God, the creator of all things, one must be a Christian.

Lesson 1-B There are only two basic kinds of existence, God and everything else. God possesses qualities indicative to God and only God; examples being, He is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient. All powerful, can be everywhere and always, and knows all things. God is also three in one, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He loves us so much that he refers to the Christians as his friends. God sent his only son, Jesus, to Earth to bear our suffering and to die for our sins. He became the sacrifice and his blood covers our sins.

Lesson 2-a The world is a oneist religion which has many smaller movements and groups that are all part of the one. some of these movements would be the ecology movement, global justice movement, genetic engineering, sustainability movement, and sexual utopia movement. Some churches have fallen into the oneist movements as well.

Lesson 2-b In twoism all humans are born with the same intrinsic core values which include, they are formed by God, they are distinct and set above other creatures, they are male or female (not both), they are under the authority of God and defined by him. There is no middle ground between oneism and twoism. “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters”. Luke 11:23

lesson 3-a The religions compared to as a pizza and the different religions as a slice was a great analogy. Unfortunately the oneist are never able to achieve their spiritual aspirations because quite simply, it doesn’t work. The entire concept is in direct conflict with God and his designs and plans. We all know how the scenario ends. God wins Oneists lose.

Lesson 3-b we have a choice to chose what we believe and follow. our choice effects what we think about God, how we worship, and what we do with our bodies in this life (including our choice of sexuality).

lesson 4-a Oneist should be content with whatever course the world takes since the world created itself and surely knows how to fix itself. However, that is not the case. They continually try to fix the world which results in the intensification of evil. They don’t believe in God the creator and have no use for the plan of salvation. God is in everything there fore there can be no communion with God because there is no distinction. In essence, they must worship everything or nothing.

Lesson 4-b Twoists believe in God the creator and that utopia will be provided in the end. God is distinct and worshipped as such. Distinctions define who we are and contribute to enjoyment on earth. Twoists and oneists both recognize the world is messed up but the twoists do not believe we can effect changes by trying to do good positive things. Worship of God, trusting in Him, and producing fruit, will be the closest we can come to help fix the problem

Lesson 5-a Another effort of the oneists is to try to bring together the opposites and to find God in themselves. They use several different methods to aid in their form of worship such as shamen, sweat-lodge, hypnotism, trances and drugs.

lesson 5-b twoists believe God is far above us and a personal God who reveals himself to us through nature, the Bible and the Holy Spirit. As twoists we can enjoy all the benefits of distinction and remain as individuals. We can worship God and eventually, in the end, we will overcome sin. we have the chouce to recognize those things from God and to make them a part of our lives and to enjoy the distinctions of music, books, songs and etc…

Based from the Lesson 1A, there is basically two kinds of religion in the world. The first lesson presents the term “Oneism,” which is used for the worship of the creation and “Twoism,” which refers to the worship of the Divine Creator. Then the lesson go into the 5-point beliefs of oneism that: (1) All Is One and One Is All; (2) All Humanity Is One; (3) All Religions Are One; (4) There Is One Problem – We’ve forgotten that we are one. and; (5) There Is One Solution which is to Look inside yourself for salvation.

From Lesson 1B – it discusses the concept of Twoism. From here, it presented that existence of God and the creation is totally different. By this, they presented transcendent attributes of God. God has called “incommunicable attributes” which doesn’t mean he can’t communicate to us about them but none of us can ever possess these attributes except God alone. Example for this is His being omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient God.

From Lesson 2A – The topic is about Humanity is One, favoring the concept of Oneism. From this lesson, I found out that oneists don’t believe that there is a God “out there” to help us and rescue us, so we must do it ourselves. Furthermore, their dreams of unity put forth by Oneists are based on anti-God assumptions and use anti-God principles.

In Lesson 2B – the lesson discusses about Humanity is Two, comparing the Twoism belief from the Oneist belief. From here, I discovered that in the Twoist system, mankind is created summarized in these 4 points. They believed that humanity is created: (1) by God; (2) distinct from and set over all other creatures; (3) male and female and; (4) under the authority of God and defined by him. We invite non-Christians to believe in Jesus’ death and resurrection, to receive the sacrifice he made in dying for their sins. We invite them to move from unbelief to belief. Only on the “belonging to Christ” side will anyone ever find true peace.

From Lesson 3A – This continues that comparison between Oneism and Twoism. From the Oneist persperctive view, religions are one. They gave example such that each religion is a piece of the whole and at the center they all share the same experience of spirituality. The oneists attempt to bring all the religions together to help out. Yet their ideas are very pagan in nature, which is dangerous and very anti-Christian.

From Lesson 3B – This continues that comparison between Oneism and Twoism. In contrast to the last lesson, twoist believes that religions are two. From here, it is said that there are only two religions – either worship of the Creator or worship of the creation. The oneism belief insist that that God is no different than creation, and so he worships and serves something created, which means that he is the one who decides what to worship and usually ends up worshiping himself. On the other hand, twoist belief insist that there is a God who defines himself and is not defined by creation. There is a God who speaks to us and is ultimately known by us in some way.

In this Lesson 4A – the topic lies on comparison of identified problems between Oneism and Twoism. From the leading oneist thinkers, they teach that all the world’s problems are due to separation and distinction. Distinction according to them is the reason the world is in a mess. However, oneists are not consistent. The Oneist goal is to destroy God’s distinctions and to bring the opposites together.

In this Lesson 4B – the topic sin lies on comparison of identified problems between Oneism and Twoism. However from the leading twoist thinkers, our problems stem from trying to be God. They realizes that if you collapse distinctions, you end up not with harmony but with chaos or even nothingness. They see that it is not by destroying God’s distinctions that we gain freedom and joy as human beings, but by conforming our lives to them, by living within those structures, by allowing our hearts to be shaped by the love God has for us.

We are now in the last two parts of the course. In Lesson 5A – the topic lies on comparison of solutions created by Oneism and Twoism. According to them, they hope to find unity in the world by bringing together the opposites and by discovering his or her own divinity. Furthermore, they emphasize say that there is no force outside the evolving universe itself, but that mankind can and should participate in the process of making the earth better.

And on the last lesson, Lesson 5A – the topic is one the solution created by Twoism. According to them, oneist belief only offers annihilation and extinction of individual gifts and personalities. And that the twoism is much and/or far more better. Why? Because it is a relief to know that there is a God “out there,” a God who cares, who has things under control, who has laid out a plan for us and has not failed to deliver it to us in language we can understand.
