The conversation on revelation was one of my favorites. I really enjoyed the way he discussed all the connections to the old testament books, going back and forth to draw out how this is a continuation of revelation.
Reading the bible in context of the time is definitely one of the most important take-aways from this set. It’s important for anything anyone reads from a previous time period or culture of which they lack awareness. Without first understanding the cultural and historical context, we will barely understand the direct references, much less the allusions.
