The book of Deuteronomy is such a rich and relevant book and your summary of the story with Jesus battling real scripture with twisted scripture is a great REMINDER. Amen, the scripture I’ve found to help with temptation is 2 Corinthians 5:10. This verse has taken all the shine away from sin that is presented by the enemy in temptation. Proverbs 6:27-28 are two that can be applied to every temptation even with chapter 6 about immorality. Stay strong in the Lord when temptation comes.

We can model like Paul did and use the honeybee tactic and tell people that rub shoulders with others like a hive.
