We can study the likeness of some of the Old Testament characters to New Testament characters etc. We can study things like how Joseph is a Jesus Christ type. This chapter dealt with prophecy. It talked alot about the different prophecies throughout the Bible. What stuck out more than that was the talk of false prophecies. I see a lot of false prophets in modern time trying to blend and sway people away from the true meaning and true prophecies of the Bible.

This chapter digs even deeper into studying the Bible in sections. Now we are down to the paragraph studies. What I found most interesting is the word choices that are used and gone over . Things like the word “If” it has a significant use in the Bible meaning that it introduces a conditional statement. God will do this IF you do this etc.

Writing and charting your thoughts and what you have learned engraves it into your mind. When studying anything like US History or Psychology, keeping a journal of thoughts and charts is the best way to study. The Bible is no different. Creating charts all the way from book to book and even sentence to sentence gives a deeper understanding.
