That is so true. People always worship something whether it’s money, celebrities, themselves, their jobs, etc….There is spiritual battles for peoples souls all the time and most people don’t even think about it. They are blissfully unaware of it.

I always remember references of the Lord being a Shepherd and we are His sheep but didn’t put much thought into why that specific reference was used. Until I read the book, “The Lord is My Shepherd”by Robert J. Morgan. It gave a better look into what the shepherd’s relationship to his sheep really means.
