I really enjoyed your post. As I prioritize my faith and grow spiritually, family and friends have begun labeling me as ‘too churchy’ or ‘less fun.’

So I completely agree, learn to get comfortable with the word and your new life – it really starts with the people around you.

I really enjoyed diving into this chapter on the different versions of the bible. It’s mostly about the nuances of translation, but the part that truly blew me away was the story of the Auca Indians—seeing how they translated the Bible into intricate carvings ‘Gods carvibgs’ instead of text is fascinating.

It’s generally not the healthy who need a doctor—it’s those who are sick. That idea always comes to mind when I’m reading the Bible or thinking about people who feel lost or overlooked. Honestly, even when men and women feel forgotten, I truly believe that God works wonders in their lives, bringing hope and healing in places where it seems impossible.

That phrase, “Believers can lose a battle but win the war,” really sticks with me. I honestly feel like the closer you get to God, the more you end up facing challenges that try to pull you away.

I really liked how each book of the Bible was summed up and how there’s a clear plan for reading it in a way that makes the flow and meaning easier to grasp. One thing from Chapter Two that stuck with me was the idea of praying before each reading, especially praying the prayer that David prayed. Honestly, I usually just dive right in, thinking…
