In 393 A.D. the Synod of Hippo confirmed it as well. And then later in 397 A.D. it was further confirmed by the Synod of Carthage.&hellip;</p>

What I found the interesting was the &#8220;life and ministry principal&#8221; of the book, which was &#8220;God can turn bitterness to blessing&#8221; the reason i found this so interesting is because the word &#8220;WILL&#8221; wasn&#8217;t used (God WILL turn bitterness into blessing) and that&#8217;s because that&#8217;s not always the case.&hellip;</p>

It had me fill out a chart for &#8220;The Cycle Of Judges&#8221; the sections consisted of 5 categories, Sin, Service, Supplication, Salvation, and Silence. This chart alone is a wonderful tool for understanding the book&hellip;</p>

It described that the tabernacle was not just a structure, but was symbolic of a greater spiritual truth. For instance, the courtyard is a symbol for the world, the Laver was a symbol for Christian baptism. Really interesting stuff. </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Have you tried the NASB? I&#8217;m nobody. But I highly recommend it. It&#8217;s basically the KJV, in modern English. It&#8217;s amazing. I&#8217;ve always found the KJV hard to understand. But I&#8217;m learning through these courses that&#8217;s it&#8217;s actually beautifully written. </p>

However, it is an extremely helpful sermon prep tool. what i thought was most interesting was how it breaks down single verses into multiple points and sub points. Very helpful indeed </p>

An example of this would be when Jesus said the words &#8220;My God, My God, why have you forsaken me&#8221; which is a direct quote from psalms 22. Which I believe was Jesus&#8217; way of saying &#8220;go look at&hellip;</p>
