Kingdom Coming

“Kingdom Coming” is an immersive journey through the latter books of the Old Testament, beginning with 1 Chronicles and concluding with Malachi. This course explores the dramatic narrative of Israel’s divided monarchy, the devastating exiles of both the Northern and Southern Kingdoms, and the prophetic voices that called God’s people to repentance, hope, and restoration.

Students will trace the spiritual, political, and cultural shifts that shaped Israel and Judah during and after the exile, gaining insight into the historical context and divine purposes behind each prophetic book. From the chronicled history of kings to the fiery messages of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and the twelve minor prophets, this course highlights how God’s Kingdom agenda continued to unfold—even in times of national collapse and personal despair.

Through in-depth study, discussion, and application, students will discover how the prophetic messages of old still echo today—pointing to the coming King, the hope of restoration, and the ultimate fulfillment of God’s Kingdom on earth.

This course ‘Kingdom Coming’ is based on the fifth series in an eight part series that breaks His Story into eight sections. The eight sections are: Kingdom Revealed, Kingdom Rebellion, Kingdom Covenant, Kingdom Foreshadowed, Kingdom Coming, Kingdom Incarnate, Kingdom Tension, and Kingdom Consummated.
