Kingdom Coming Part 10
At Keys Vineyard Church, we are presenting a series called ‘Kingdom Coming,’ which we post here on Online Bible Institute.
This week, in our Kingdom Coming series, we focus on love, inspired by Isaiah 9:6-7:
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
This prophecy is a profound expression of God’s love, revealed through the birth of Jesus. Christmas is more than the story of a child born in Bethlehem; it is the beginning of God’s ultimate plan to restore what was broken. Through Jesus, God restores our relationship with Him, brings inner peace, and promises a renewed creation.
The greatest act of love is seen in Emmanuel—”God with us.” Sin separated humanity from God, but through Jesus’ birth, life, death, and resurrection, the barrier is removed. Revelation 21:3 echoes this truth:
“God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them.”
Christmas celebrates the gift of reconciliation. When we accept Jesus as Savior, we enter a restored relationship with God now and forever.
Jesus reconciles us to God and brings peace to our hearts. The Prince of Peace offers hope and assurance in a world filled with fear, guilt, and despair. Revelation 21:4 promises:
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.”
This peace begins now, as we trust in His presence and promises, and will be completed in eternity.
God’s love extends to all creation. Through Jesus, the curse of sin will one day be lifted, and the world will be renewed. Revelation 22:3 speaks of this ultimate restoration:
“No longer will there be any curse.”
Christmas is the dawn of this renewal—a glimpse of the new creation promised in Revelation.
As we celebrate Christmas, let it remind us of God’s love and His plan of restoration. Spend time in prayer, worship, and Scripture to deepen your relationship with Him. Trust His promises in moments of uncertainty, and let His peace calm your soul. Most importantly, if you haven’t yet embraced the gift of life Jesus offers, do so today.
This Christmas, may the love of God, revealed through Jesus Christ, inspire hope, peace, and joy as we await the fulfillment of His Kingdom.
This weekend at Keys Vineyard Church, we will discuss all this and more, so be sure to join us in person or online.
