Kingdom Incarnate Part 1

Kingdom Incarnate

At Keys Vineyard Church, we are presenting a series called ‘Kingdom Incarnate,’ which we post here on Online Bible Institute.

We are starting a new series this week called ‘Kingdom Incarnate’. This series endeavors to teach us to ‘see’ and ‘know’ Jesus in the gospels.

To truly grasp God’s story, we must view it through the lens of Jesus Christ. John 1:14 provides the foundation for this understanding:

John 1:14 (NIV)
14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

This profound truth shifts our perception of God’s narrative, offering a tangible revelation of His character and heart through the life and ministry of Jesus.

When the Word became flesh, God Himself stepped into human history. Jesus, fully divine and fully human, bridged the infinite gap between heaven and earth, making the intangible God accessible. This act reveals the depth of God’s love for humanity. Through Jesus, we don’t just hear about God’s glory—we see it. He is the embodiment of God’s story, fulfilling centuries of promises and prophecies. Jesus doesn’t simply teach the truth; He is the truth. He doesn’t just demonstrate grace; He is the source of all grace.

This revelation reshapes not only how we read Scripture but also how we understand life itself. Through Jesus, we learn what God truly values. Grace, often seen in His forgiveness and compassion for sinners, reflects His boundless mercy. Truth, evident in His teachings and unwavering commitment to His mission, shows us the stability and reliability of God’s Word. Humility, displayed as Jesus washed the disciples’ feet and ultimately went to the cross, teaches us the servant-hearted nature of God’s kingdom. Sacrificial love, seen most profoundly in His death on the cross, reveals God’s lengths to redeem and restore His creation.

Understanding God’s story through Jesus gives us clarity and direction. It invites us to align our lives with these divine values, transforming our relationship with God and how we interact with the world. Jesus is the lens through which the glory of God becomes visible, and through Him, life takes on eternal meaning and purpose.

This weekend at Keys Vineyard Church, we will discuss all this and more, so be sure to join us in person or online.
