Master of Divinity in Ministry
Advanced theological and pastoral formation designed to help experienced ministry students integrate Scripture, theology, spiritual maturity, leadership, and practical ministry into a life of faithful Christian service.
Integrating Theology, Leadership, and Ministry
The Master of Divinity in Ministry from Online Bible Institute provides advanced biblical, theological, spiritual, and practical preparation for students pursuing deeper Christian ministry formation.
The program builds upon prior graduate study by helping students engage theological questions with greater depth while continuing to develop skills in preaching, teaching, pastoral care, counseling, leadership, biblical interpretation, and ministry application.
Ministry formation is not simply an intellectual exercise. Effective Christian leadership requires a growing life with God, emotional and spiritual maturity, wisdom, humility, compassion, and the ability to faithfully care for people in real ministry situations.
The Master of Divinity in Ministry therefore seeks to bring together theological understanding, spiritual formation, pastoral wisdom, and practical experience so that students are increasingly prepared to serve Christ and His Church with integrity.

Transition from Biblical Training Institute Materials
Over the years, we greatly appreciated our relationship with Biblical Training Institute (BTI). Their teaching materials were a valuable part of our program, and we continue to hold their biblical instruction in high regard.
In September 2024, BTI launched its own certificate program using a fee-based model. This created confusion among some OBI students who believed they needed to purchase BTI materials or enroll in paid BTI certificate programs in order to continue their OBI studies.
To preserve the clarity and accessibility of our learning environment, OBI paused the use of BTI courses in the curriculum. This decision does not reflect negatively on the quality of BTI’s materials, and we remain grateful for our past relationship with them.
We have since added courses from AWKNG School of Theology to our graduate curriculum while continuing our commitment to high-quality, biblically grounded education that remains freely accessible to OBI students.
