Notice to All Online Bible Institute Students

We are going to begin implementing a change regarding our Forums.

From now on, please use the Site-Wide Activity page to post about your lesson.  https://onlinebibleinstitute.org/activity/

Be sure to start your post with the Course Name and Lesson Number. Then just post as you normally would.  When you make your post, you can now post on any other two posts in the Site Wide Activity Feed. You are not limited to posting only on students taking the same course.

There are a number of reasons for this change.

I believe it will help us to build community among all our students. We have a fascinating group of believers from all over the world attending our Online Bible Institute and I would like the students to be able to encourage and support each other.

The Forums were essential when we started out ten years ago, but with recent changes in our platform, I think it will be less confusing for everyone to just post straight into the Site-Wide Activity Feed https://onlinebibleinstitute.org/activity/ Just remember to start your post with the Course Name and Lesson Number.

It will also be easier for everyone. Rather than having to click several layers down into the site, just go to the Site-Wide Activity Feed and as long as you are signed in, the space for you to post is at the top of the page.

Now that our App is available having everyone post directly into the Site-Wide Activity Feed will make the APP a lot more user-friendly.

On our end, we are still able to track your progress using Site Wide Activity the way we did with the Forums. It will be easier for us as well.

So, please make the adjustment. Instead of using the Forums, please use Site-Wide Activity to post after you complete each lesson in the course you are taking.
