These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of onlinebibleinstitute.org (the “Website”) and its related programs and services, operated by Tower of Praise, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including student registration and coursework, transcripts and accreditation-related services, the Site-Wide Activity Feed and Kingdom Encouragers community, donations, and our merchandise store (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Website, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
Student Accounts and Coursework
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your student registration and for any coursework you upload. We reserve the right to correct clerical errors on transcripts, verify submitted coursework, and suspend or terminate a student account for violations of this Agreement, including academic dishonesty or misuse of the Services.
Community Conduct
By participating in the Site-Wide Activity Feed, Kingdom Encouragers, or any group or profile feature, you agree not to post content that is harassing, abusive, sexually explicit, misleading, or spam. We provide tools for members to report or block other members, and we may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these standards, at our discretion and without prior notice.
Donations
Donations made through the Website are processed by a third-party payment processor and are subject to that processor’s own terms. Donations are generally non-refundable except as required by law or at our discretion.
Merchandise Purchases
Our merchandise store is hosted and fulfilled entirely by a third party (Spreadshop). Purchases made through that store are governed by Spreadshop’s own terms and conditions, not this Agreement. We are not responsible for order fulfillment, payment processing, product quality, or returns for merchandise purchases.
Accuracy of Information
We make reasonable efforts to keep course content, accreditation information, and other Website content accurate and current, but we do not guarantee it is free of errors, and we may correct, update, or remove content at any time without notice.
Independent Consultants
Certified Church Consultants referenced or linked from the Website are independent contractors and are not employees, partners, or agents of Tower of Praise, Inc. They are not authorized to speak for, represent, or obligate us.
Third-Party Services and Links
The Website links to other resources, including our affiliated sites (churchencourager.com, churchconsultant.org) and unaffiliated third-party services (including Spreadshop). We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any linked resource. Use of any linked resource is at your own risk.
Disclaimer of Warranty
The Website and Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any course, transcript, or accreditation outcome will meet your expectations.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tower of Praise, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Website or Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Changes to These Terms
We may modify this Agreement at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state in which Tower of Praise, Inc. is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
