Course Description: This course is a look at some of the amazing questions Jesus asked. It was presented as a weekly series.
Pastor Steve Lawes has been influenced over the course of his learning by the teaching of the following: John Wimber, George Eldon Ladd, Rick Warren, John Piper, NT Wright, Putty Putman, Michael Heiser, Bob Goff, Tim Mackie, and many others. All of these influences are woven throughout the messages presented in these courses. Please assume that anything really good comes from one of the people listed above.
Course Requirements:
- Read over the notes and watch the video assignment for each lesson.
- After you complete the requirements for a lesson, go to the Site-Wide Activity Feed and post a comment about something that interested or impacted you as you worked through the lesson. Your comment needs to be well thought out and at least 75 words. These posts will be counted as part of the writing requirement for the course, so please write well-thought-out comments on what you are learning in the lesson. Please start your comment by referring to the Session or Lesson number of the course. You also need to post comments on two other students’ recent comments on courses they are currently taking.
- After completing all of the lessons in the course, you will need to write a 750 word paper on three things that have impacted you during the course and submit it using the Completed Coursework Upload form. At the Bachelor’s Degree Level, your paper must be well-written. For information on how to write a paper click here.
- You also need to pass the final exam. The questions in the Final Exam can only be answered by listening to the lectures. We encourage you to copy the questions located in the Final Exam lesson before you begin the lectures so that you can answer the questions as you go.
